A rocky bush track climbs through twisting eucalypts under a clear blue sky, with low sun lighting the branches orange. The path is a jumble of stones and shadow in violet, rust and gold, and a big sandstone slab fills the lower corner. Painted from a bush walk, it has the feel of a trail you’d want to keep following. An Australian bushwalking landscape for gum tree and hiking lovers.
Original oil painting on canvas, signed. Unframed.
