A laughing kookaburra sits on a backyard fence, head tilted down, intent on something below. The bird is built from thick pale blue, lilac and white paint with a dark brown eye stripe and wing, and the fence boards are streaked in pink, grey and orange under rolling, wavy clouds. A characterful Australian bird painting, and a lovely gift for a kookaburra fan.
Original oil painting on canvas, signed. Unframed.
