Wind-bent gum trees stand against a heavy grey sky on a cold day in Bendemeer, NSW. Every branch is outlined in hot magenta pink, so the bare limbs glow against the cool, silvery cloud, while rust-orange scrub and tussocky grass fill the ground below. A cold day painted in warm, unexpected colour, and a striking Australian gum tree painting for a living room or hallway.
Original oil painting on canvas, signed. Unframed.
